Face Time – not to be mistaken for Apple’s video chat feature. Nope, bosses have been using this word before there was such a thing as video chat. This term means to have scheduled in-person interaction with a boss. It doesn’t have to be a formal meeting with just you and the boss, it can mean that you were assigned to sit at the same table the boss is seated for your company’s award banquet.
“I have the same flight as Daniel so I’ll have some FACE TIME with him and maybe get a chance to talk to him about a few projects I’ve been working on.”
